The Generation Amazing Youth Festival 2022 will the first-ever international school exchange programme alongside the FIFA World Cup™️. Schools from 32 participating nations will engage in a year-long exchange programme – GOAL 2022.
As part of the programme, students will have the opportunity to engage in virtual educational workshops focusing on sport for development trainings helping them develop key life skills and address social issues that exist in their communities. The festival will welcome students to Doha alongside the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ for in-person physical trainings and tournaments, designed exclusively to implement their lessons from the programme.
This will be the biggest edition of the Festival and will help foster international cooperation and cultural understanding. The Football for Good tournament is an opportunity for young people to apply all the technical and personal skills they’ve picked up. And to close the festival, an awards ceremony celebrates participants’ achievements, alongside live performances and unique cultural activities.
