Designed to resemble the ‘gahfiya’ head cap worn by men and boys across the Arab world, Al Thumama stadium is the first FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadium to be designed by a Qatari architect. The 40,000-capacity venue will host matches up to the quarter-finals stage during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.</p>

Located 12km south of Doha, Al Thumama Stadium is set to host FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ matches up to and including the quarter-finals.
