Education City, is Qatar Foundation's flagship initiative. What started with a single school has transformed into ‘Education City,’ a 12 square kilometer campus housing multiple educational and research institutes. During just one short walk—or tram ride—around campus, you could be visiting an Ivy League university, cross the street to browse one of the region’s largest libraries, and then attend an open-mic at the neighboring university behind it.
Education City is also home to the largest library, the Qatar National Library. One of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadium, Education City stadium is also located inside the magnificent area. The city is accessible via three Doha metro stations (green line) and Education City Tram is available for commuting within Education City.
